Materials

  • “Wolffia sp. smallest flowering plant on earth, Floating, sustainable production” from kelvintaminus0116’s eBay store, https://www.ebay.com/itm/126391284615
  • Tap water dechlorinator – We are using Tetra AquaSafe Plus
    • Notes: This is only required if you use tap water, which is typically treated with chlorine and/or chloramines to prevent bacterial growth in drinking water systems. Non-chlorinated water, such as natural spring water or distilled water, can be used without further treatment. Alternatively, tap water treated with chlorine can be boiled for 15-20 minutes or allowed to sit 24-48 hours to remove chlorine by evaporation. However, evaporation is not effective in removing chloramines.
  • Plant fertilizer – We are using FoxFarm Grow Big Hydroponic Liquid Plant Food
  • pH test strips – We are using Fisherbrand pH test strips
